Back at home with much to do...
But at the moment I'm still glowing and chanting praises to Ganesha--and all the beautiful people at the University of Maine at Farmington--for making my 4 days of workshops there so fantastic. From the beginning invitation from Deb Kalikow-Pluck on behalf of UMF's incredible president Theo Kalikow, through all those who helped along the way--April in PR, the scheduling people, the AV crew, Theo's assistant Moira, and especially the gracious IT supergeeks--to the wonderful students, faculty, and townspeople of Farmington who attended the workshops, it was a spectacular experience for me.
I would dearly love to repeat this format at Universities all over the globe! So if you know of any I could approach about that, please let me know!
Thanks to the above-mentioned UMF IT department, my February 9th workshop for Yoga Hub's 3rd Annual Virtual World Yoga Conference also went well. Called "A Simple "How-To" and "Who's Who" Introduction to Sanskrit Mantra," the workshop covered how to do the practice of mantra meditation and answered lots of questions about the energies that are invoked when we chant Sanskrit mantra.
